 LED drive power industry is mainly used in supporting LED lighting industry. Drived by the rapid growth of downstream LED lighting application market, the domestic market demand for LED drive power also shows a growing trend. In 2020, the output value of LED drive power in China will reach 27.9 billion yuan, which is expected to grow to 29.2 billion yuan in 2021. LED power industry growth space is also very broad, LED power utilization will be more and more high.

 
LED drive power has the advantages of high reliability, high efficiency, high PF, multiple protection functions.
 
(1) High reliability
The high reliability of LED power supply is related to many factors, such as voltage stabilization coefficient, ripple, load adjustment rate, electromagnetic compatibility and so on.
 
(2) High efficiency
LED is an energy-saving product, and the efficiency of the driving power supply is high. It is very important for the junction heat dissipation of the power supply installed in the lamp. The efficiency of the power supply is high, its power loss is small, the heat generated in the lamp is small, and the temperature rise of the lamp is reduced, which is beneficial to delaying the light decline of LED.
 
(3) High power factor (high PF)
The power factor is the load requirement of the grid. General 70 watts below the use of electrical appliances, without mandatory indicators. Although the power factor of a single electrical appliance with small power is a little low, it has little influence on the power grid, but the amount of lighting used at night is large, and the similar load is too concentrated, which will cause serious pollution to the power grid.
 
(4) Drive mode
The mainstream driving mode includes two kinds: one is a constant voltage source for multiple constant current sources, and each constant current source separately supplies power to each LED. In this way, the combination is flexible, all the way the LED failure, does not affect the work of other LED, but the cost will be slightly higher. The other is direct constant current power supply, LED series or parallel operation. It has the advantage of low cost, but poor flexibility, but also to solve a LED failure, does not affect the operation of other LED problems.
 
(5) Surge protection
The ability of LEDs to resist surges is poor, especially the ability to resist reverse voltage. It is also important to strengthen this protection, especially for outdoor LED power supply. Due to the power grid load and the induction of lightning strikes, various surges will be invaded from the power grid system, and some surges will lead to the damage of LED.
 
(6) Protection function
In addition to the conventional protection function, the power supply increases the negative feedback of LED temperature to prevent the LED temperature from being too high; To comply with safety regulations and electromagnetic compatibility requirements.
